I have made a few videos which were intended to be uploaded on “X”, and rather the app has wasted my time and failed twice; nothing surprising.
It is poorly developed and managed, not much expectation there.
I still use it since I’ve had a strong following and influence since 2017, long before it became “X”, when it was known as “Twitter”, and prior to the decay it has become under the new ownership and management.
Back to topic, the three videos and copy of tweet, show the substantial worrisome and detrimental issues on the site/ app “freelancer.com”.

To compile the main paints:
- No jobs are as described, nor the income promised
- Very ignorant and perturbing exchanges with staff (read what I mentioned on the exchange working on closing the account, after SEVERAL attempts in futility)
- Data collection issues
- No real support on issues that matter
- Tons of messages from humans, ALL pushing to spend steep amounts of money in promise of nothing, literally listed on their “disclosure”
- Assignment given did not respect my efforts; requests were changed after I had travelled to locations where I could complete what I was asked, wasting my time, money, resources, not to mention high demands for pennies per multiple minutes/ hours. This also not including no real feedback on work done, and no promise of getting paid for work done.
Of course I am intelligent enough to identify ignorance and empty promises. I reserved my travels to already planned, as my intuition could tell this was going to be a huge waste of time, and I was not wrong on the slightest. Assignments would suddenly disappear as I was there on site to complete them.
This time, resources, and pennies on the hour mis-advertised experience also includes the fact of data demands for metadata collection. Adding to costs, not reimbursed for. No alternative options given, questions all ignored.
The later being a significant experience across the board. This particular assignment being directly tied to Freelancer, not alternative users.
The experience with the site itself is in par with that of the never paid for assignment.
There are better options out there. I will add, that enabling behaviours of slave like work, creates an environment of acceptance for the future. Why I bothered to make this post. Trillion dollar income budgets trying to force free labour or migar wages, and finding the willing to assimilate are some of the greatest issues in modern era, especially in technology.
Another point is AI pushes are exactly about creating poverty and removing expertise retributions. Why they are also overhyped, and the situations of tech false promises. You can add the feigned claims of artificial intelligence being tied directly with tech companies claiming is AI, which are involved in data theft.
My story including these people claiming is AI they used, while the details of both myself as a user of these companies’ technologies (unaware), next to flaunting mockery by those claiming to be ignorant in great detail, including personal and pseudo accounts exchanges, goes to show why use such a devoid of validity excuse. Incentivizing networks of individuals outside companies, further corroborates to the ignorance and limited intellect of those involved.
There is a fineline in useful, assistive, respecting knowledge/ admiration, acknowledgement, philanthropic and abuses it lends itself to, or others around such, mitigate.
Examples include my experience of mockery by data theft for profit abusers, in mocks and even indirect claims trying to pass my artistic and other knowledge as equating to “for free/ philanthropy”, since I have a background of doing work in volunteer roles, which is not the same scenarios.
Adding the social media self advertising I have always run myself, and the same behind such abuses trying to credit themselves as giving such benefits in exchanges (that have never existed), goes to show the mentality of those behind such actions.
It is not difficult to understand that these data abuses, companies and individuals involved – be as part of the abuse and or perturbingly ignorant of their own self detriment, are incapable of comprehending the effects to self obviously, let alone in broader spectrum, such as economic values among the public versus few.
Nothing new on that later point, of course.
There is a difference on demanding for no value, and denigrating value. BOTH are equal in worthlessness and damaging across the ladder.
You’d think it is obvious, but [not to sound redundant], it is obvious it is not – case in point it exists, and it has in multiple formats, and it is called “cutting edge”, “genius”, and other like devoid of meaning – considering the full spectrum, words.
